Mountain rescue data management, analysis and reporting software

Collection, analysis and reporting from the field about the work of Mountain rescue organizations and members, reported incidents, which ultimately makes a great added value when deciding, planning and monitoring the work of Mountain rescue organizations.

With Qdrome you can broadcast a message from its Control center (with pictures, videos, audio files and text) to all the members of Mountain rescue or just one team (eg. Mountain rescue team for special operations). You can also, for example, broadcast messages to all mountaineers and tourists nearby that something is happening in a particular part of nature park or area (Eg. avalanche, landslide, search for a mountaineer, a bear with young cubs seen on the hiking trail…), and they will instantly see it on their mobile devices.

At the same time, every Mountain rescue member can broadcast a media-rich message with location and GPS tracking data to all other Mountain rescue members and the Control center and report the incident or situation. The possibilities are endless and you can tailor them to the needs of your Mountain rescue organization.

Important practical features for any Mountain rescue organization

Incidents and users data presentations and reporting

The Control center app can have several types of reporting in the form of a table, graph or heat map. Reports are available in PDF and CSV format. For example, the query can be “Show me all incidents by hours where the ambulance was called in the last 3 months” or “Show me only incidents related to lost mountaineer in the last year”, etc.

Map reports

The Mountain rescue teams can report incidents like; injured skier, lost hiker, landslide, avalanche, wild animal, and so on.

Heat maps

The concentration of incidents in the selected area of the Mountain Rescue Service can also be seen in the form of a heat map.

Graph reports

The graph shows the number of incidents reported by Mountain rescue teams by hour. The graph can also show the number of incidents in a certain period on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis.

Customizable PDF or CSV reports

Reports are an important feature for a Group Administrator. Equally important is the ability to customize the data and generate reports tailored to specific needs, which can then be exported in PDF or CSV format.

Broadcast tags

Members of Mountain rescue teams can use predefined tags when reporting incidents. In addition to significantly speeding up communication during the incident, it later enables high-quality analysis and filtering of the collected data and the creation of reports in the Control center.

The tags that will be used for a particular type of broadcast or the Group as a whole are defined by the Group administrator. For example: Helicopter called, Helicopter arrived, Emergency medical assistance needed, Police called, Police arrived, Ambulance called, Ambulance arrived, Patrol in progress, etc.

Mountain rescue teams' real-time tracking

In the Control center app, the movement and route of the Mountain rescue team can be monitored on the map (real-time GPS tracking), and the route remains recorded in the database for later analysis and archiving.

User roles and management

Group user management, such as inviting users to the group, assigning certain roles, deleting from the group, etc., is the task of the Group Administrator (via Qdrome Control center). Users are all members of your group.

There are two user roles: Regular users and Responders. Regular users (eg mountaineers, hikers, tourists) can use the mobile app to report events and incidents, call for help and assistance while Responders (Mountain Rescue members) can respond to them, but they can also report events and incidents themselves. As a Group Administrator, you can give custom names to your users and Responders.

There is also a role of Recruiter who has all the privileges of a Responder plus the ability to recruit new Mountain Rescue members, hikers, mountaineers or tourists (invite new users to the group) through the Qdrome mobile application.

Mountain rescue area geo-boundaries

In the Control center app, the staff can divide the area assigned to a specific Mountain Rescue organization into zones and define geo-boundaries to have an overview of the zones in which certain teams move, for easier organization and to avoid overlapping.
